Hi Chris,

In terms of a writing, you need to develop paragraphs so that people are able to realize the idea of your writing. In a formal writing, there must be an introduction, supporting sentences and a conclusion. Do not be afraid to give it a try. Let me give you some advice:
1. You can take some writings of your classmates as references.
2. You need to brainstorm before you start to write something.
3. Elaborate your ideas in each paragraph to make your writing well-structured.
4. Remember the first sentence of each paragraph is the topic sentence. So it must be to the point.
5. Do not use abbreviations too often in formal writings, such as "I'm," "that's" and so on. These will make your writing look informal.
If there is any question, do not hesitate to turn to me for help.
