The best view in my life(1st version)(Final)

A normal meal is nothing special in people’s eyes. I used to think in that way as well. However, there was a special experience that has totally changed me, which I will never forget in my whole life. When I was in senior high school, I attended a special event, which required everyone participating in it to starve for twelve hours, letting people experience the feeling of having no food to eat. The issue of starving is getting worse day by day, especially in Africa. That’s why this event was held. Out of curiosity, I joined it with my friends. At the very first beginning, I felt nothing special about it and thought that I would go through it very easily; it’s just a piece of cake. Not until the afternoon did I realize this was not funny at all. I was so hungry but all I could do was watching my classmates eating lunch, eating dessert, which was such a torcher. Finally the deadline that I could have food to eat came as I arrived home. When I opened the door I smelled the amazing smell coming to me. I kept walking to the dinning room and saw a really wonderful scene in front of me—the delicious dinner my mother cooked for my family. It was hard to tell how grateful I was to see it and how thankful I was. At that moment, I realized the meaning of the event—to cherish everything we had and never took it for granted; even it was just a meal. It might mean a lot to somebody else.
